    Hi mugs,

    I’m currently in between jobs what equals a lot of free time. So i’m looking for a nice tv-show to watch (i watch a lot of shows already though). Any thoughts?
    I enjoy shows like gossip girl and pretty litte liars, private practice and grey’s anatomy but also like covert affairs, bones and CSI.

    Any thoughts on shows to kill my free time? TIA

    scrubs is good! also love a programme called my wife and kids, and the fresh prince of bel air – on during the day time over here in uk. fresh prince rocks!

    I’m not really sure any of the shows I watch would fall into line with the kind you like. Though, I recently read that one of my fav shows, The Almighty Johnsons, is going to air in the UK on Syfy starting this Thursday at 10pm. So, probably not all that helpful.

    My favorites of the moment: Fringe (it’s more sci-fi in quantum physics style though, not sure if you like that), Mad Men (the makeup is fabulous), Pan Am (also 60′s, also fabulous makeup).
    When I’m really bored I watch Ringers, because I like Sarah Michelle Gellar but it’s not extremely good, just ok.

    If you never saw Gilmore Girls, that was cute, and there are 7 seasons to watch :)

    mariella all the things you mentioned i already watch except for ringers. That was on my doubt-list but i can always give that a shot. i was a die hard buffy/SMG fan so i guess shes a reason to give it a try

    Buffy is one of my favorite things on this earth! I spent a ridiculous amount of money one year to dress as Buffy for Halloween. I had someone make me the white dress from the first season showdown with The Master, rented a crossbow. died my hair blonde, found the jewelry, etc. It was so fun!

    Anyway, have you tried True Blood? It’s vampires and based (loosely) on Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse novels. Sookie’s no Buffy, but she is a little, blond, supernatural chick. There’s lots of ridiculously hot men wandering around half-naked, if that’s your thing. :wink: If not, it does have nudity, violence, and strong language. So, if that’s not your thing it might not be a good idea.

    Mmm i’v seen like 2 episodes of true blood but indeed it was a bit too much of the things you mentioned, however i grew a bit older so maybe i can handle it now :wink:
