I’m looking for advice on a good Sunscreen. I break out everytime I wear some, so I avoid it, but with Summer coming I do not want to avoid it. I want to be able to also wear it under my makeup, which is a feat of it’s own.
**I also find if I go to the beach and go in the water, it runs into my eyes and I go blind. (yes it’s waterproof) Help?

    Hi bellamarie!
Finding the right sunscreen if very difficult. I struggled with the same thing your are going through a year ago. My skin is very and oily and is prone to breakouts. I always tried to avoid putting on sunscreen because it used to make me breakout but my doctor always said that if i dont use the sunscreen i will get a lot more hyperpigmentation from previous acne. So i went on the journey to find my perfect sunscreen. The one that has helped me out the most is neutrogenas ultra sheer dry touch suncreen. This is weightless and it soaks into my skin right away. It is my favorite suncreen to use in the summer and can be used for everyday. You can also try somthing that has a moisturizer and sunscreen in it. The one that i am hooked on is called pca weightless protection. The only downside is that you can only get it on amazon or at a dermatologists office. It has really helped my skin along with my other regimen and has given it the moisture and protection it needs. I hope this will help:) Stay Beautiful!

    Hi,

I use to have the same problem until I found one that worked. It’s called Heliocare Gel (not the cream one) I’m not sure how available it is in the US, but you should be able to order it from Amazon

It’s a bit pricy and mostly doctor’s and dermatologists sells it, but it’s great! It’s non greasy, super light, no white shine and no breakouts. I don’t even know I’m wearing sunscreen. It’s SPF 50 and protects against UVA and UVB. I have no problem applying my make-up over it. They have a spray version as well that you can use on body and face when going to the beach

    Hope it helps :)
