One of my biggest makeup challenges during this horrible, oppressive Summer heat is keeping my eyeliner from slipping off. Recently I had my makeup done from a Chanel international celebrity makeup-artist. He gave me a great tip on keeping my eyeliner from smudging and looking amazing all day. This is a tip I was not aware of. Many of you might already know this, but I decided to share for those of you who might not.
Using a slanted eye lining brush, run it through your favorite waterproof mascara. Once you get the color on the brush, line your eyes. You can even tightline, as long as your eyes are not sensitive to waterproof mascara.
It truly lasted all day without smudging. Additionally, it looked like the blackest “eyeliner” I’ve ever used.
