I was at Sally’s recently picking up an eyeshadow brush and some Palladio primer when I happened upon these mysterious products known as lip crayons and thought to myself, hmm. Let me preface this by saying I am NOT a fan of the lip stain. It is just not my cup of tea. I guess I actually kind of prefer the creaminess or glossiness of a stick or a gloss. Having said that I love, Love, LOVE the lip crayon I got. I purchased the color Vixen which may be a little dark for spring (it’s really more of a fall color but I’m going to rock it anyhow!) so I am planning on getting a few more colors. It feels, well actually, like you would expect a creamy crayon to feel on your lips. I was really afraid that it would feel like crumbly or whatnot, but it doesn’t. It’s very silky but not thick like some lipsticks can be. The one think I am not fond of is sometimes you can feel the wood part against your lip and that’s a little unnerving and of course I am going to have to sharpen it but hey I have to sharpen my eyeliners anyhow so that isn’t really going to keep me from buying this. I guess to wrap it up, yes I am a fan of at least Palladio’s Lip Crayons. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up
