I need advice on how to deal with my stubborn eyelashes. They are long and straight and i’ve tried to curl them with my eyelash curler (Shu Uemura) they do curl it’s just as soon as I try to apply the mascara my eyelashes go back to being perfectly straight again. What should i do??

Apply a single coat of mascara and let it dry completely. Then curl your lashes and apply mascara as normal. The idea behind this is that the first coat of mascara is going to be broken by your curler, and then you reset those breaks in the curled shape using mascara.

You may also find that using an Asian brand mascara helps, as these brands tend to be designed for straight lashes which are stubborn to curl.

    Depends.

Depends on your budget and where or how you’re willing to shop, as well as where in the world you are, what you already have on hand or have tried in the past.

I have the same issue :( !!! I apply very little mascara and let it dry before i apply more (so for me it is always essential to wipe off excess mascara from the brush before i apply it). Also i found that all waterproof mascara hold the curve way better than regular ones but they downside is that they are harder to remove … :-? Also while applying try to do it in kinda of a curling motion with you mascara wand, i find it helps a bit sometimes too (so hold it near the roots of lashes pushing them up and then swipe upward..also can sometimes hold a tine bit upward at the top of the lashes).. :-?
I don’t know if that makes sens the way i describe it but hopefully you’ll get it. Mascaras i have and use are:
    Maybelline :
    – One by One volume express
    – Stilletto Volumtuous (waterproof)
    L’Oreal:
    – Voluminous (waterproof and regular).. this one i had to let it sit for a bit before started to using it as it was a bit too watery for me and it is easy to apply to much with it but i absolutely love it it is the best!!!
    Rimmel:
    – Lycra Lash extender
    – Glam’eyes Lash flirt

I have the perfect solution for you! I’ve done my lashes like this for years…..
    1. Curl lashes
    2. Apply one or two coats of waterproof mascara (Maybeline Full ‘N Soft waterproof mascara)
    3. Apply next coat or coats with your favorite volumizing or lengthening mascara

Full ‘N Soft is my favorite waterproof mascara because it is a light weight mascara, most waterproof are thick and heavy and are stubborn to wash off, unlike Full ‘N Soft.
You may use your choice of waterproof mascara, it’s the waterproof solution that helps hold the curl that matters most.

    Hope this helps.
