This product just came out and I was wondering if anyone has tried it out? I’m new to makeup and would really like a set of beginner colors to try out for an inexpensive price. Any info or better suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Haven’t tried it, probably won’t as I have both the previous Naked palettes. That said, it would definitely work for travel, and it’s all matte eyeshadows, which is good if you’re not into shimmer or glitter but still love neutral colours.

In the meantime, here’s a review with swatches on Temptalia…

And one from Musings of a Muse…

I think if you’re just starting out, and you want something inexpensive, and the brand is accessible to you, check out Wet’n'Wild. They’ve really stepped it up in terms of quality for an affordable price. Their eight eyeshadow palettes are supposed to be really good. Under $10 USD. Or you can try one of the quads which I think are less than $5. (If you’re UK-based, check out MUA (£4/~$6.50ish USD?) or Sleek palettes (around £6/~$10 USD).)
