I recieved this amazing duochrome shadow from Glamour Doll Eyes called “Dino Spotz” and this thing is stinkin awesome! I’ve never used a duochrome shadow before so I was kinda scared of it haha but I’m in love!!
The color that’s on my lid is the same color that’s in my crease, just it’s applied wet on my lid (over a black base) and dry in my crease. Actually after I did it, it completely reminded me of a look Marlena did using MAC’s “Blue Brown” pigment but I can’t remember what her look is called.
I also had done a teal and purple look a while ago and I really felt I could have done better job so I redid my original look.
Thanks so much for taking time out to look at this!!February 3, 2012 at 12:20 am #149652

Marlena’s was called “Metallic Smoky Eye”. Both your first look and hers are also kind of similar to a look Sam from Pixiwoo did using Ellis Faas products (she used a duochrome cream eyeshadow on her lid).
Duochrome is definitely something I’d like to play with down the road. *nods* (And pigment foiling!)
And your second look is also gorgeous.February 4, 2012 at 12:17 pm #149859
Thank you all so much!!!
@Jessica: I LOVED that first look which is completely weird because I’m not really a neutrals kinda girl haha!
@Marlena: that’s awesome!! And an amazing compliment! Thank you!
@April: Thank you so much!
@Shelly: I’ll have to go watch that Pixiwoo video now! I love the Pixiwoo sisters! I’ve been on this weird foiling kick lately. I’ve been foiling everything haha! And thank you!!February 4, 2012 at 2:06 pm #149881
I love all these looks and want to try them all! I had bought duochrome shadows from Geek Chic Cosmetics (Solid Snake), just because they looked so cool, but I’m such a newb I didn’t appreciate what could actually be done with them.
I was going to go to work to catch up on some stuff, but I think you’ve inspired me to play in my makeup instead!

Thank you ladies!! I really appreciate all of your sweet comments!! I was scared of the duochromes at first because I thought it would only look good from certain angles, ya know? But I’m glad I got one! I love it!February 12, 2012 at 9:39 am #151674
