For someone on a budget, what is the best lighting for makeup when the sun is not available?  Can’t afford professional studio lights but are there any lamps out there in the market that can do the trick?  Advice and suggestions?  Thanks a bunch.

You can buy photo lightning kit. It starts from 100$. I’ve got mine for 150$ and I like it.

I have Conair’s Reflect Cool 3x/1x Magnification Mirror (this one: http://www.conair-store.com/product_detail.asp?T1=CON%20BE24T#back), and it works just fine for me if you’re looking for something cheaper.

Are you looking lightning for yourself or for applying make up on clients? If it is for clients that lighted mirror won’t work.

For clients, what are the best brand names out there that’s portable, easy to use and relatively affordable.

What’s your budget? Glamcor has some lights.
