I recently purchased Mac eye shadow pigment set, it’s a metallic aloha set limited item. I’ve just recently became a Mac junkie so i wanted to know if anyone has any tips for applying the pigments? They look so pretty but i’m scared i may make a big mess……Help anyone?
Make sure to crush any of the bigger “chunks” in the lid as obviously those won’t adhere to the eye. After that it really depends on effect you want. For a soft wash of color pat the pigment on with a flat, stiff brush over a primer. If you want a more metallic finish, apply these using something like MAC’s Fix & Spray and mix some of they eyeshadow with a few drops to create a very metaalic eyeshadow, I love doing it this way as it makes the metallic finish so much better. (You can also use a couple of drops of contact solution to mix the eyeshadow with, but don’t use water as it evaporates and leaves a powdery mess)
