I would love to be able to use concealer to hide my under eye circles but when I do, it always seeps into my fine lines. The results make me look older then I am. Does anyone have any tips on how I can avoid this? Maybe suggest a good primer or concealer that would work better for me? Thanks for the help!

What concealer and primer are you using?

theBALM time balm concealer and I don’t have a certain face primer yet. I am trying out some samples to see what one works best. Right now I am trying a makeup forever one.

Using a silicone based primer in the under eye area can help stop concealer from settling into fine lines/folds, it can also help if you use a fluffy brush or mini buffing brush to apply it rather than your finger.

I second the silicone based primer! You might like Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer. Also, I use Benefit Powderflage under my eyes and it sets the concealer pretty well.

I use Benefit Stay Don’t Stray to keep my concealer in line :) No problems with fine lines here!

I’ve noticed a difference when I use a silicone primer under my eyes before putting on my concealer. The fine lines don’t show up as much as they did without a primer.
