Why not use your moisturizer? Virtually all of them contain the same ingredients as eye cream.

That’s a great idea. I was thinking Cetaphil cream bcuz it’s thicker. My skin is pretty sensative tabs breaks out easy. I’ve used Cetaphil face lotion in the past. My skin around my eyes has all of a sudden gotten sedative to lotions and primers that I’ve used for a Lon time. Hopefully this will work! Now I just need an eye primer to replace my MAC! Thanks for ur help! Great link too!

I’m wondering if anyone has any good rec’s for eye creams/serums that help with/prevent lines and crepey-ness… For reference, I’m 27 and have combo skin… I have been using an eye cream (Clinique All About Eyes Rich) for over a year now, which I find helpful for hydrating the area… But I do have a few lines just under my lower lash line (which I’ve pretty much learned to live with) and now I’ve been noticing crepey skin below that area… I don’t think it’s super noticeable (except to me!), but I’d like to curb the process as much as possible! It’s definitely possible that I just haven’t been drinking enough water and that combined with dry winter weather has been bringing out the flaws in my under eye area… But the rest of my skin has vastly improved in the past year since changing my skincare routine, and I’m really trying to keep it looking young and fresh (as long as possible!)

    Any advice would be appreciated!

I started using keihls avocado eye treatment about a month ago and LOVE it! It’s really helped my concealer not cake up too. It’s about $26 I think so not much more than getting like an olay one or something like that (which are actually pretty good on me…) I also really like using straight argan oil on my face and around my eyes- it makes everything so supple and glorious in the morning! Lol

@ sephora…- where do you get the argan oil? This sounds very interesting to me. :)

I’m on my second jar of Origins Eye Doctor – I love it. You can find it at Origins (obviously) and Sephora. I have extremely sensitive skin, particularly around my eyes (any adverse reaction/contact allergy will cause my eyes to itch like mad and swell shut). I don’t have any problems with this cream. It’s a little pricy, but it’s less expensive than some others. It’s moisturizing but not greasy. I apply it morning and night. I have definitely noticed that my eyes don’t get as puffy in the morning as they used to before I started using it.

Maybe I can help you. First what kind of treatment are you looking for? Do you want one for puffiness, circles, anti-aging or everyday? Or how about all of the above? Let me know what kind of benefit you are looking for and I can help suggest some choices out there. Incase your wondering, I went to beauty school for Esthetics and I am obsessed with taking care of the skin(wrinkles, age spots, preventative maintenance, eye care, night regimens, etc ). I spend most of my time researching on skin care and what works best. i dedicate many hours a week to finding the right products targeting all kinds of areas. I hope I can help, so let me know. :)

@Natasha: Is there anything you would suggest for puffiness? I sleep well and drink a lot of water, but the skin under my eyes is always sooo puffy!

I have a very sensitive skin myself and I love using Mádara eye repair cream. It gives me no stinging or redness. I even notice that since I started using this eye cream I have less wrinkles around my eyes. It is a rich eye cream that melts into my skin easily, I have extremely dry skin though.
Mádara also has a firming eye contour gel. It is supposed to help with puffiness, dark circles and fine lines. I have not used this one myself though.
An eye cream I do use for puffiness is the Uspa Revital Eyes Eyelift Gel. I have not been using this for long though, so it is possible the puffiness under my eyes disapearing has nothing to do with this gel. I’ll have to try it out for longer to know if it does really work. I have had no bad reactions to it though.

Natio has an amazing eye-cream, but I don’t know if the brand is sold in the states…

Best cream ever made: Mario Badescu control cream. Cured my eczema on eyelids and of many another people.. So I believe it’s really good.
