Hey everyone! I have a few questions on b2m, that I hope you can answer for me.

Can I back to mac a viva glam v lipstick?

Can I back to mac the passions of red fascinating ruby lip palette (came with a lipglass and two lipsticks) from 2008 collection

Is it okay if a foundation bottle still has liquid left?

Can I back to mac a mascara if I got it in the look in a box frisky girl set?

Is it true that you can get a LE lipstick?

Should I go to a mac store or a mac in a macys, nordstroms, ect?

I just looked on the website and it lists all the containers you can returns… It seems like any lipstick container is ok, but it does say “primary packaging” (I would ask them what that means)… I think a full-sized mascara tube would be ok too, but again, there isn’t an extensive description on their website… I have heard that you cannot get Viva Glam lipsticks from Back to MAC (prob because a portion of their sales goes to charity)… If you go to freestanding MAC store, apparently you can get a lipstick, eyeshadow or lipgloss!

…depending on the store. If you do B2M online, you’re limited to a lipstick within the permanent range.

Viva Glam products are ineligible as your free lipstick, because 100% of the retail price goes to the MAC AIDS fund. Most of the stand alone stores will be a little lenient with what product you can get back, as opposed to the counters will only give you a lipstick.

I never said I wanted to get a viva glam v lipstick as a back to mac. I said if I could b2m a viva glam v lipstick. Lol

- Yes! These will count as one of the six items needed to B2M.

- Yes. Most packaging is accepted, as long as it isn’t one single pigment tube/mini lip glass tube/nail lacquers/etc from something like the holiday sets.

Is it okay if a foundation bottle still has liquid left?

- Yep, MAC doesn’t care as long as you’re recycling it!

Can I back to mac a mascara if I got it in the look in a box frisky girl set?

- I don’t recall that box set, but if it’s the same size and packaging as the permanent mascara is, it will count.

Is it true that you can get a LE lipstick?

- It depends on the location. Some will but most won’t B2M for limited edition items, but you can call around and ask. It usually depends on how popular that limited item is, and it’s usually up to a manager.

Should I go to a mac store or a mac in a macys, nordstroms, ect?

- If you go to a freestanding MAC store you can B2M for any permanent Lipstick, Lipglass, or Eye Shadow. Counters at Macy’s, Nordstrom, Dillard’s, etc can only B2M for lipsticks.
