Hair styles for hair of less volume?

It’s summer (in India) and the heat seems to drown all my already-less volume hair because of the sweat and all! Are there any hairdos which suit best for these kind of situations?
P.s.: I got really less volume in my hair, and it sets itself into a shape according to the weather, like if it’s cold or pleasant weather then it is straight, else it is dry and wavy.

is your hair long and is it naturally straight or can it hold a curl?

i totally get what you mean, i live in Dubai and the weather is kind of same here, if only hotter. However, my hair is usually manage-able. I suggest keeping your hair tied instead of leaving it open, like a stylish ponytail or something because that way even if it DOES get frizzy or dry only your ponytail gets affected and you could always use product on that  :)
