bekiJanuary 20, 2012 at 4:41 am #147407Which foundation do you suggest for oily/acne skin? What kind of consistency? fluid, creme, compact powder,…? And what do you do to make it stay on througout the day?
January 20, 2012 at 7:16 pm #147521Hi Marlena,
I’ve recently stumbled upon your videos on youtube, and was just wondering if you have a fool proof way of choosing the right foundation shade and color?
I personally have a hard time choosing foundation because my skin tone is kinda all over the place, I don’t know how to tell if I have a warmer, coolor or neutral undertone, and I just usually end up picking random foundations and don’t get the results.

January 21, 2012 at 4:22 pm #147597How to make a tinted moisturizer for days when you don’t want to wear full foundation or need heavy coverage.
What ratio of face moisturizers and foundation would you recommend?
I use Revlon and Aveeno, it works well sometimes and other times it just isn’t quite right in terms of coverage.January 22, 2012 at 12:28 pm #147674What’s the best foundation for a photoshoot that’s inexpensive
Also, I’m looking for a great foundation but one you can also buy in Europe…

My face gets really red around my nose and the t-zone, i would like to know what is the best kinda of concealer for redness?January 24, 2012 at 12:45 pm #148099Hey Marlena!
What’s the best foundation for combination/oily skin with acne?? Do I need primer underneath, and if so what kind?
Thanks!January 24, 2012 at 4:13 pm #148206How long is the staying power of the average foundation with a primer underneath?
(I use MUFE Correcting primer with Revlon Colorstay. I put my makeup on by 6am and by 3pm it’s absolutely disgusting and my foundation is ready to slide off. I just want to know if this is normal.)
January 24, 2012 at 4:16 pm #148208Hi Marlena! Love your tutorials & all the info you provide here
My question is regarding powdered mineral foundations. I have combo/dry skin in the winter & combo/oily in the summer. I wear mineral foundation all year long. How can I keep it from settling into any fine lines or scars, while also providing enough coverage for blemishes? January 24, 2012 at 4:19 pm #148210Hi Marlena!
What’s the best tool to use to apply foundation? I’m new in makeup in terms to using brushes and tools, there seems to be so many and it’s overwhelming trying to find the right one for a certain application – especially when applying foundation. I have a foundation brush and it doesn’t seem to produce the best results in that it leaves little streaks all over my face. What else can I use and what’s the best technique to use with that tool to apply foundation correctly?
January 24, 2012 at 4:19 pm #148211Quick question : How to make my foundation last longer? Also when I shop online how do I know that ‘that particular color’ is the right shade for me?
Thank you in advance.
Much love
