I am 23 years old and have oily skin with large pores that is sensitive and acne prone. I saw Marlena’s flawless face video and was wondering if my skin type would look good in the MAC mineralize skin finish since I am already shiny/oily-skinned? To those of you with similar skin, what makeup do you apply to your face that looks good? I currently use MAC’s mineral loose powder foundation and I’m addicted! Also, should I only stick to blushes/bronzers that are matte and not shimmery or sparkly? My pores are more visible around my nose and cheek area. Basically how do you make your skin look flawless if you have large pores and oily skin?

I think you can still use a MSF if you’re oily; it just has to be placed well and used sparingly — tops of cheekbones and browbone, really. I’d also recommend using a fan brush to apply it to the cheeks; it’ll place less product than something like a duo-fiber brush. (e.l.f. has a good, inexpensive fan brush in their Studio collection.)

Blushes and bronzers, I tend to stick to matte ones, though I sometimes use a blush with a little bit of shimmer-sheen to it (MAC Dame). You just have to be careful. :)
