Hi, I have a question so Im going to put it here, Makeupgeek’s facebook page, and Marlena’s facebook page. Here’s my question: in what order do I put banishing cream, moisturizier and firming cream on?
July 8, 2012 at 3:08 am #180254@Elizabeth Sathre Hi, can you be a bit more specific? Are you talking face or body? What do you mean by banishing cream and firming cream?
(PS: no need to ask the question on both FB pages, it’s the same MUG team members who help Marlena with them)
thanks!
July 8, 2012 at 4:08 am #180255For the face. The Banishing cream is from Avon and the description says “Banishing Cream Skin Discoloration Improver. Hydroquinone-free formula featuring Avon’s patented skin brightener as well as a botanical brightening blend and Vitamin E. It is a nourishing nighttime cream that gradually evens the skin tone by helping to reduce the appearance of unwanted dark spots and discolorations.”
The firming cream is also from Avon and that description says: “Dramatic Firming Cream. Rediscover your skin. Our exclusive mix of vitamin E, carrot, apricot and arnica oil improves elasticity and resilience, for noticeably firmer, toned, supple skin in just 4 weeks.”

Right now I’m doing my toner first, then my over night acne clearing gel, then the firming cream and finally the moisturizer in that order and I want to add the banishing cream to that. I don’t even know if Im doing that in the right order but if you could tell me what order I should use all of that in I would be very grateful.
I know it sounds like a lot of stuff but I have a lot of scarring and yellowing/dark spots on my cheeks from my acne that is caused by medicine Im taking and bags and crows feet around my eyes UGH I’m just a mess lol. Thank you very much for your time

In my opinion, this is too much to use at once, and you certainly don’t need a normal moisturizer on top of that. The Banishing cream is described as a night cream so I’d do toner, acne gel then banishing cream at night, and that’s it. No need for a moisturizer.
I’d use the firming cream in the morning instead of your regular moisturizer.
I’m not saying that you can’t layer active products over each other at the same time of the day, but then you’d have to let each product sink in for 20 or 30 min before adding the next one, and I don’t know about you but I don’t have time for that
plus you have the risk of overnourishing the skin and ending up clogging pores, if you already have acne, this can’t be good. And thos products all replace a moisturizer, really, so just skip that in any case.HTH!
