Hi all!
So I was just curious what everyones favorite thickening / volumizing mascara was in the drugstore? I use mascara every day so if I can find a good one available right down the street that would be awesome. I did try Loreal’s Carbon Black Voluminous that Marlena likes but it irritated my eyes (maybe because I got waterproof?, anyone else had that problem?). And the drugstores in my area don’t sell NYX or e.l.f. 
Like I said I would prefer thickening / volumizing as my lashes are plenty long, just not as thick as they used to be and I like them to pop

Bourjois Volume Clubbing Mascara is good! It’s more fiddly than Carbon Black, as you need to scrape off the excess first, otherwise it’ll clump and go on all gloopy; you also need to twist the wand rather than just zigzag it like normal. If taking a bit more time isn’t a problem, then it gives you very dark, thick lashes. Max Factor’s False Lash Effect is better, imho, than the Carbon Black. It is more expensive, but I got mine off Ebay at half the store price, so that wasn’t a problem. I’ve heard that the waterproof version isn’t very good, as it’s so waterproof it takes days for it to come off properly, which sounds crazy. o_O
I’m currently using the Max Factor False Lash Effect and the Bourjois Volume Clubbing in Brown. I only got the Bourjois one in brown because it was so much cheaper than the black, but it’s a very dark brown, so works just fine. What I do sometimes is layer them–one coat of Volume Clubbing and then one coat of False Lash Effect, and that really gives very long lashes. The first time I used them together both my mum and my older brother asked if I was wearing false lashes!

Rimmel Sexy Curves Full Figure Mascara. Love it, and basically all the Rimmel mascaras. I know a lot of people love Cover Girls line of mascaras, but I could do without them.
