Did you check inglotcosmetics.com?
August 28, 2012 at 3:08 pm #188732There are Inglots in Finland!
August 29, 2012 at 5:17 am #188846Well yes and there is even an finnish online store, just hadnt heard from this brand before. Are the makeups very good quality? And by inglot gel liner you mean the matte collection AMC eyeliner gel?
August 29, 2012 at 7:16 am #188861I haven’t read all the answers to your post so I don’t know if someone already said this but here’s what I think;
I think the reason why you feel uncomfortable with this look might be because you have added a lot of black above the crease and a lighter color on your lid. Instead, I would give you the advice to put the darkest color close to the lashline and then tone the smokeyness upwards with a lighter color. It’s kind of hard to explain in words but here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how I do this if I want a more toned down smokey eye that still looks dramatic: http://madamnoire.blogspot.se/2012/08/goth-in-school.html
(Don’t be scared by the goth-title, anyone can wear this makeup

Dont know if this will help but I figure I would offer you some info. I am very fair skin with medium brown hair and dark brown eyes. I too have issues with my eyes watering lately (never had that problem before not sure why it started all of a sudden). My tears actually wipe off my makeup like acid. lol. Went to Sephora with the complaint and they told me to try Kat Von D eye primer (I have used Urban Decay and Too Faced when this has happened). I have yet to try it but plan to when the one I am using runs out plus it is cheaper than the other two brands. As far as the look you are trying to achieve there are a couple of suggestions. First, I notice when I try to use black shadow without another slightly lighter shade like a dark gray or a dark brown it looks too much. I save the black shadow for just near the lash line. Second, I love my black eye liner (I use urban decay perversion) but I want it to be gradual blending of color so I put on my eye liner first then put my dark brown shadow over top of it smudging the liner a bit as I go. Do the same on the bottom lash line. Then I chose a slightly lighter brown (more of a medium brown) for the crease blending the dark brown slightly into it. I also place a little on the lower lash line near the inner part of the eye. I usually put my lightest shade near the brow first (before I put my eyeliner on etc). That way it helps the dark colors from going too far up accidently. Then finally if I want to richen the dark brown a little more I might add a little bit of black shadow staying near the lash line OR place a thin layer of eyeliner over top of the shadow staying near the lash line. Then gel eyeliner to the upper and lower water lines. (Seems like if I minimize the amount of shadow I put at the outer corners of my eyes my eyes water less….I am hoping the new primer I am going to try will resolve this because I do like placing shadow there.)

September 1, 2012 at 12:01 pm #189232Marlena has a good tutorial on the classic black smokey eye. She keeps the darkest color close to the lashline and then works the color up.

September 4, 2012 at 9:14 am #189548honestly I think the look is gorgeous on you
I know I’m a little late, but your eyes are really pretty and I think the black liner is kinda what’s making you think it looks really dark and deep, but all it does is enhance the shape of your eyes and makes them appear even brighter. I like the suggestion of using a dark gray liner instead of black because like I said it might help make the harshness of the black against your pale eyes a little less apparent. but you’re still beautiful either way! hope it worked out for you

September 6, 2012 at 12:50 am #189850Thanks all! I dont think that the watering is because of primers, I just started to use primers recently and eyes watered already before that :/ At winter the problem is even worse, I literally dont have to step outside more than 1 minute and I look like have been crying all day
Also ive heard that the watering can be caused (weird but true) by dry eyes. Maybe need to buy some eyedrops to moisten the eye and put them on early before makeup and try if that works
What comes to the smokey eye, It looks good on me as long as I dont touch the INNER CORNER with dark colours.. But then it just doesent look as dramatic :/ The picture of Kim Kardashian that I posted earlier in this topic is just the look that I wanted.. I usually put primer also on lower lid but colours just dont come as bright/intense black as in the Kardashian picture..
September 9, 2012 at 2:01 am #190464I believed that the black smoky was not for my either.
But for mistake I did it in dark blue and I really like it.
Maybe if the black meets very strong. Try other colors but in dark as Purple, Blue, Green, etc.
Your make up is great.
