So this may be a stupid question, but does it matter that I curl my lashes before I put on any eyeshadow (but after primer as I do that very first so it has time to dry while I am putting on my TM and blush)? Or do I just do everything backwards?
I think you should do whatever works best for you. But if I curl my lashes first, I can’t get to my lids to put on eyeshadow and especially eye liner because my lashes would be in the way.
I would have a hard time getting to the lid once I’ve curled my lashes. I use a heated curler that flat out rocks and great curls.
There are many ways to skin a cat though!
I think mostly I’m afraid that I will ruin my shadow and liner if I do it after…
^ I’ve never had that trouble with my Shu Uemura or my MAC lash curlers.
Yes, I’ve had it come off on the curler – especially pencil liners or stuff I haven’t let dry and set completely before curling. I just touch it up. Once curled, it is harder for me to get the applicator to the base of the lash… but then I really curl them. Remember to wipe off the curler between eyes.
The other thing and this is probably just personal preference more than anything else, does everyone curl their lashes every day?
I usually do because mine are long but have no curl whatsoever, they stick straight out.
Not for me. I curl only if i applied mascara afterwards.Curling lashes before eyeliner would make it hard for my eyeliner application in the upper lid yet easier application in the waterline. I don’t like to curl it after mascara because it will make my lashes clumps (after all i’ve done to prevent clumping
)
