As you can all see, ivé got a problem with hyperpigmentation here
When i try to cover it with consealer and/or foundation, the marks only seem to get more grey in stead of dark braun, witch makes my problem only more noticable.
Can anyone tell mee, with wich teint i should cover this up? Or maybe a special product recomandation?
How are you trying to match your foundation? With the pigmentation or your normal skin?
I use 2 teints of foundation, one teint lighter than my skin, and a darker one, for contouring.
I’ve tried several foundations and consealers, but non of them work right for me on the marks (especially the ones on my sheeks and the one on my forhead naer my hair, for the small ones it works).
The marks seem to get dark grey when i try to cover them, no matter what foundation i use. Just like i’ve been hit in my fase…
Maybe, i should use a pink one? Or green?
(Note: my skin is darker rl than it appears to be on the photo, and the marks also)

Using a foundation lighter than your regular skintone is part of your problem, and likely why the hyperpigmentation goes ashy. Your foundation should be the same colour as your normal skintone (you may need to mix two colours together). Similar with your face concealer. It should also be the same colour as your skin.
A pink concealer (or primer) will, I think, just make the problem worse. Pink brightens sallow skin and can help counteract dark (blue) circles. A green concealer (or primer) may be better; green counteracts red.
Thnx Shelly. Tomorrow i’ve got my first make-up lessson, and i’ll try a darker consealer and foundation than.
