kay so I’m asian and i have a monolid (duh). and i’ve used foundation and powder and concealers and lip colors and blushes and all that. i’ve tried to do eyeshadow on myself before, but it’s just so freaking hard. the first time, i remember applying it all the way up to my brow bone (wtf?) cause i dont have a crease so i dont know where the crap to end my eyeshadow..so i used the bobby pin thing and found my “crease” if i wouldve had one. so i know where to stop my eyeshadow now (wohoo) except i’ve always used the horizontal method. light color on the inner 1/3 like a shimmery light cream (all my shadows are shimmery, i absoulutely hate matte..) then for the middle 1/3 i either use a shimmery pink or a light light golden light brown color. then the outer is just the dark color, like darkish gold or light brown. then i blend with my finger.
so yeah any other ideas for eyeshadow on monolids.? lol thanks.
i want to try bunbun’s “outer v” method to make my eyes look more dimensional, except i keep epicly failing… heres the method :
