    Hi all!

So I just bought Revlon’s new whipped foundation which I am loving so far.  It feels so light on my skin (even in this 100+ weather that doesn’t seem to want to let up).  My question is how should I apply it.  So far I have been using an elf “highlighting” brush (I think), it is flat on top.  I would just use my fingers, but I have heard that is a no-no(?).  I have also consider using a beauty blender sponge of some sort.  Should I just try them all and see which one works best for me?  What do all of you use?  Thanks!

I’m not too sure about usinh a sponge with a whipped formula and I try everything with fingers first, actually I’d think fingers would work great with that kind of product.

i use fingers too.  it works and it seems to use the least amount of product. i just can’t afford the waste of product that happens with brush or sponges.

I would use fingers as well.  It’s only a no no if you don’t wash your hands first.  Lol

Yeah, I think that sort of foundation is a finger foundation.

Meanwhile, I would not recommend using e.l.f.’s Studio brushes (the one you were referring to was the Powder Brush) for creams. Even though they’re synthetic bristles and should work better with creams, IMO, they’re better-suited to powders.

I’d also use my fingers for that.

I’m going to go ahead and say fingers too, though I have read on several blogs that people have had amazing results using the Beauty Blender.

Update:  What I have been doing lately is putting it on with my fingers and then kind of stippling it with a brush.  Seems to be giving me good results.  Also recently started using the Monistat chafing gel as a primer.  Magic!  Don’t know who the first person to try to put that on their face was but awesome!
