So, who out there can give me some pointers on how to apply false lashes. I have the worst time putting them on. I want to wear them, but have no clue what I’m doing. Please help!!

There’s a million and one tutorials on HOW-TO apply falsies but I will tell you my way,

As you have already applied the lash glue bend it in a U motion so that way it can fit the curves of your eye.

I have a mirror but I have it to wear it’s close enough yet I am looking down into it to apply the falsies as close to my lash line as possible.

Adjust the middle on and then you can work on placing the ends of the falsies.

I had a heck of a time with them at first too and I still have trouble from time to time. I would recommend starting with the half lashes. They are actually my favorite to wear anyway because it gives that really elongated, catlike eye and they are much easier to apply than full strips. Ardell 301 and 305 are my favorites and are typically the easiest to find in drugstores and beauty supply stores.

I also apply mine with a tweezer. I find it’s easier to hold the lashes with a tweezer and position them that way instead of with my fingers. I always feel like I’m going to smudge my makeup when I use my fingers.

Personally, I don’t use tweezers to apply, and I don’t apply the glue directly to the lashes. (I tend to be a serious tube squeezer; I end up dispensing too much product. Plus, my tweezers don’t seem to grip on the lashes very well.)

What I do instead is squirt a little blob of lash adhesive on the back of my hand, then hold the lash with my fingers (I hold it closer to the tips) and drag the seam along the glue. The rest of the application is the same as mentioned by others, only with my fingers instead of tweezers.
