I am sure A LOT of you had good experiences with the MUG store, and this has nothing to do with Marlena or anyone who does amazing tutorials, And this doesn't effect my love for this Forum and site BUTTT.....
I recently Recommended The Makeup Geek store to a friend of mine here, We live in Germany Currently, And we both were excited that they ship internationally, and affordably right? Okay...
So i placed an order around June 15, and recently contacted them because i did not receive it. They suggested checking with customs, which i did, and customs did not have it. After that, They Gave me a full refund, which was nice of them, and that's it for me.
Now on the other hand,... my friend also placed an order around the same time, and just received about a week ago.
It took 9 weeks to get here. Putting that aside my friend was excited it finally got here, after opening it, she noticed 2 products were missing, and one of the eye shadows had broken and stained everything...
I told her to contact them and let them know, she was just like whatever, it would take them another 9 weeks to ship me the stuff and she just had enough... and didn't care anymore..
OKAY- That her choice right? Well i don't know why but it bothered me...
I noticed the packaging could have been better and if you are shipping Internationally, you should be more cautious!
So, Unfortunately, that made me not want to order anything just because i feel like it's a hassle, Ive ordered from Several places in the US, and it all came safe with normal shipping...
So i dont know, I thought maybe i need to get that off my chest...
