Hi Makeup Geeks! This week's challenge is to create a look inspired by a sunset! The colors are so gorgeous and very summery, so let's see your creations The prize is 3 of Tarte's lipsurgence lipstains- they're super creamy and easy to apply under the hot summer nights

Challenge begins Monday, June 13th and ends Friday, June 24th at midnight EST
Create a look inspired by this picture
Post photos of your look here in the forum
Only 1 look per person, and the work must be your own
Winner will be announced Monday, June 27th
Prize will be three Tarte LipSurgence Lipstains

Thanks for the awesome contest with an awesome prize!
I wanted to take part in this contest because I'm only thirteen and thought it would help improve my skills.

To start off, I applied a light cream eyeshadow (MAC Vanilla) all over the lids and up to the brow bone. I also patted some into the outside of the inner corners to really make the eyes stand out. Then I applied a coppery bronze shadow all over the lid up to about the crease. Then I applied a light gold colour into the crease for the 'sunset' effect.

I also applied a turquoise blue colour on the lower lash line for the sunset on the water effect.

To finish off I added a light pop of colour to my cheeks using a pale pink blush and I also used a pale pink lipstick (MAC Viva Glam Gaga) topped with a shimmery baby pink lipgloss.

OOO I loooove sunsets. I was inspired to do something a lil different and also add Marlena's summer Lip tutorial in as well this is mainly for the contest i put on a more subtle lipstick/gloss to go out in.

This is my Sunset themed makeup look. I decided to do an overall makeup look with the inspired colors, because I wanted to do something fun and beachy for summer! I was not only inspired by the picture but also the sunsets we see while we are at sea. (I am in the US NAVY so we see a lot of them!!)

Hey everyone. Here is my sunset inspired look. I decided to go with the purples and oranges instead of the classic sunset look. I just thought those colors on the bottom were the most inspiring. Also, I used a ton of eye-shadows because I didn't have many orange or the right shade of purple. Hope you like!
