Jessica,
thank you so much for the concise and informative answer to the not so polite responses to why Azin was chosen as the winner. Personally, I find it very offensive that you had to spend so much time responding to people that are as my grandmother would say "would complain if you hung them with a new rope". I find it sad that this community that I look forward to coming to at the end of a busy day and seeing the gorgeous ideas that are posted for MY benefit as well as many others. I have learned so many techniques, not just from Marlena and her team, but from the many posters who choose so generously to participate in the contests and in the forums.
I am hopeful that we can get back to the most important parts of the site, make up, ideas, tutorials and sharing with one another.
I am terrified to put myself in photo and out there, but am grateful for the skills and the women who choose to do so.
Also, Lady Red? I have seen other makeup similar to what Azin did (which is just spectacular) and have seen it with pencils and shadows. It's amazing and I am utterly in awe of the talent and the time that it takes to create such a look.
To everyone that participated... please continue, I enjoy seeing all of your ideas and look forward to seeing many more.
Thank you and many congratulations to our winners this week, as well as to all who chose to submit an idea and take the time to make my day, and I'm sure others, brighter.
Hilary
