On October 22 I crossed the great divide and crossdressed in public. It was exciting and terrifying. And not one comment was made that was rude to me. A lot of puzzled looks, some laughter, and a lot of blank stares. All through it I was in mortal terror. But I am committed to this and every day it will be a little easier to step out that door.
I have a need of help in learning to do my makeup. That is why I joined the forum. I know that it is possible that girls will find it something of an intrusion for someone born a boy to be asking into the circle of sisterly counsel as an equal, and I accept that such an intrusion will cause suspicion and worse. I am willing to be patient.
I searched for a tutorial on makeup for blue eyes, which mine are, and looked at a video that presented so many points and details that I was dizzied. I'm going to need to start slowly, with just beginning hints. In some ways I am like a five year old child just seeing makeup as a future concern and looking for ways to mimic the big girls.
I don't intend to throw myself into the fire on this. I have to be convincing. If I do something, it has to be perfect, so that my masculine features are less apparent than the effects of the makeup. That much I can figure out myself. But how to do that? What a vast subject!
Any advice here would be helpful and I'll be eternally grateful.
I am a trans gender female as of October 22, 2011, the first day I crossdressed in female clothes in public. Please be respectful. I will be so for you. I really appreciate being able to be a member here as I will need a lot of help.
