For disturbing and forbidden films you have hit the nail on head ... as this film the chuckie character was blamed for the death of James bulger ... if you dont know many years ago two 10 yrs old boys took a 4 yr old boy to some trian tracks and tortured him him then left him on the rails to be killed by a train and sadly he was.

it was a very big case here in England and still provokes emotions as it was claimed in court the boys were copying the character Chucky in all thier actions ... sure what are 10yr old doing being allowed to watch it .. but the film became the hate target of many people and was never seen in the same light as the so called puppet horror that is was casted as. .. a very sad outcome to a young boys life

Wow! I didnt know that! Poor kid!

I've experienced some things very similar to what Emily Rose experienced. I think there are other explanations for what she experienced and other types of help she could have used more.

The Shining has always been my favourite. I don't like the jumpy-spooky films. I liked Stephen King's It when I was a kid but now it's more of a comedy.

A lot of movies will say "inspired by a true story" but it doesn't make the movie true. For example, The Strangers was inspired by the Manson murders.

I have two all time favorites. The first is "Let the Right One In". I know that a lot of people are very 'anti-vampire movies', but this one isn't "twilighty". Its about these two kids that basically fall in love with each other, but the girl is a vampire  It sounds stupid when I explain it, but its actually really heartwarming and terrifying at the same time.

The second is one that my sister and I watched together last year, and it almost scares me just writing about it. This one is one of the rare ones that actually is based on a true story (Look up the Parker-Hulme murder case). Its about these two teenage girls who become friends, and get to the point that they're obsessed with each other, and are willing to kill anyone who wants to separate them. They create they're own, very vivid, fantasy land where they are considered extremely powerful, so they pretty much become insane, thinking that they can kill anyone they want to. (I wouldn't recommend watching this if you have kids.)
Well behaved women seldom make history.

I love zombie movies and things that toy with your head... Silent Hill is probably my all time favorite, I also have watched Dawn of the Dead twice in the past week!

the strangers is probably the scariest. It's supposed to be based to real events... which is what makes it so freaky

My favorite movie to watch at Halloween has always been Halloween 1 just because.. I dunno sentimental reasons I guess lol but as far as getting scared from something on a movie, it really takes alot. If you want to see a movie that will make you think (and some parts really scared me to be honest) watch a movie called antichrist.

The PA2 film doesnt quiet have the edge the the PA1 had but still very good. you really have to watch it because it incorporates the first film before and after, its like you have to watch PA2 for 3 quarters then the whole of PA1 then the last quarter of PA2 to finish ... hard to understand i know but you will when you watch it ...
