Postby eyes on u wtn on Tue Dec 13, 2011 2:30 pm

Hiya Guys,
I am new to this forum, however have been on a similiar one, salon geek..
I wanted something more makeup related, i have been doing makeup for atleast 10 years, on and off on family and friends, have tought myself everything i know, and believe i am good at what i do.
I have come to a stage where i would like to do makeup professionaly, however am struggling!!!! as i dont know where or how to begin, please someone help as i am feeling so trapped, as makeup is my passion and i want to use this to share with others as a makeup artist.
I need models to practise on, however dont want to have to pay out to find these, as they are so expensive, and i would need photographer 2... does any 1 have any ideas??

Thanks, sorry to go on!!!

Photographers and models in your local area. When you're looking for models, try to find ones that will work for print: instead of paying them money, they'll be willing to work for a new image in their portfolios.

The point of Model Mayhem is for models, photographers, MUAs, hairstylists, digital and retouching artists to network and find each other and find work.

Another thing you can do is try Facebook. Ask your more local friends if they know any models and photographers that would be willing to help you out and develop your portfolio.
