While my eyes aren't hooded in shape, the brow line is starting to fall onto the crease, so I can't get the kind of precision I used to in my 20s. When I do a wing, I must use an eyeshadow, which I wet down and use to wing it out. I have to step back and look in the mirror when I'm finished because I notice that my left eye doesn't open as wide as my right one. It's bizarre. Never noticed that before, but I think it's from when I had Bell's Palsy and one side of my face was paralyzed for a month.
Anyway, I feel your pain. Wild wings just don't work for hooded eyes, but I think we can still get beautiful wings that are muted by using wet shadows as liners with an angled brush. Next time I do a look, I'll take some pics and upload. . .
