This looks like shit on a guy.
There’s no need to be rude. If you don’t like a look, there ought to be reasoning behind it other than the person wearing it is a guy. I think the look is fabulous, and in no way should makeup be limited just to girls. Anyone is free to wear it, and makeup is not only a way of gussying up but an art too. And art has never been limited to one gender.
Try discussing the specifics of the makeup you don’t like next time, instead of looking ignorantly hateful.

i hate the guy look
I love the lining technique done by ParaNoir. It’s so intricate and definitely has an egyptian feel to it.
Why on earth would a guy want to wear makeup like that? It looks horrible! No guy would wear that and I wouldn’t want to see any guy wear that!

paranoir got my thumbs up for this attempt..when we say arab inspired, it really needs to be very bold and wild..and it really suited the look..the extended lashes and the outstroking lines were really great..i also like elizabeth’s attempt of colorful sparkly eye makeup and the green circle lenses used complimented the look well
I don’t like this look on a guy either. That’s just my opinion. More specifically, for Gabrielle, it’s probably because of his stubble. The look is so pretty and intricate-and so why wouldn’t you pay more attention to the rest of your face? If he had some crazy looking eyebrows or his skin had acne all over I would say the same thing. Let me put it like this: Fashion designers don’t walk down the runway wearing their own gowns, they use models. Sometimes your ideas just look better on someone else. With all that said, I do think he is very talented and creative!!
And that’s exactly what I’m objecting. The look is to focus on makeup. I myself am a proud Makeup Geek, and yes, I do have acne. Unfortunately, I have a lot of it. I’ve been practicing and using makeup for years, and it offends me that you wouldn’t like a look based on how much acne a person has, just like stubble or even crazy looking eyebrows. I work hard to make the best looks I possibly can, and yet someone would judge my eyeshadow technique on my acne?
It still hurts to know that my hard work would “look better on someone else”. Not trying to come off as crazy and overanalyzing with these comments, just voicing my opinion.
