This is by far my all time favorite product! The consistency is smooth but not oily, the coverage is great, and the colors are pigmented enough to cover blemishes with ease.

Star Powder
These pigment like powders are so beautiful! They are shimmery, but they give an almost glowy effect to the eyes unlike most shimmer shadows. The colors are gorgeous, and the texture is very fine making them easy to apply. I love these!

- 954 Purple (rich, true purple color)
- 956 Turquoise Gold (gorgeous color!)

Aqua Eyes Stayput Liner
These creamy eyeliners have a great punch of color and are easy to apply! The texture is similar to Urban Decay’s 24/7 liners. Although they are creamy, they don’t seem to budge quite as easily and are supposed to be waterproof.

Thanks to a unique formula that adheres to the eyelids, these liners resist water even under the most extreme conditions, without running or fading.

HD Microfinish Powder
This face setting powder is translucent making it great for almost all skin tones. Since it is so finely milled, it gives the face a smooth finish without looking too cakey.

I too love their Aqua Eyes pencils, but they only stay on for about 6 hours on my eyes. Even with primer, powder, etc, there’s no eye pencils that last for me. Any suggestions????

Marlena, do you think the concealers are fairly crease-proof???
I agree that the liners (from Makeupforever) do not stay put for very long..I find that UD eyeliners work better for me!
The concealers are pretty crease proof for me, but I put mainly underneath my foundation. During the summer, you’ll need to set with powder as anything that is cream or even liquid based will slip…

I really wish we could buy from Sephora in the UK – there are so many things I would like to get it is very frustrating!
Really appreciate hearing about them though, I will have to ask my friend to go shopping for me when she goes on holiday to Florida – at least I will have a good idea what to ask her to get!

For all of the ladies that have product related questions: Just a reminder-
Sephora and Ulta both have testers available for most products, so you can go to the store and match yourself. They also employ makeup artists and, at least in the case of Ulta, estheticians that can help you with your purchase. Take advantage of these services- that’s what those people are there for, and it’s almost always part of their evaluation (so you’re kinda doing them a favor too!)
Also, in the event that a product just does not work for you, both stores have very accommodating return policies- I know, I hate returning things myself, but TRUST ME, your sales person would rather you return it so that she can help you find the right thing versus you keeping and going somewhere else the next time you buy.
Hi Jessica, while I love their products I really hate shopping at my local Sephora store. The girls in my area do not offer great customer service as promised. I have went in on several occasions and have wandered on my own without even being asked if I needed any help and get an attitude if I do ask a question. I have made several complaints in regards to this but have seen no change. So I have banned them from my store list and shop directly from the brand sites. Also, I do not trust them to give the correct advice simply because I have not seen one who has applied her makeup properly. I always turn to Marlena and do a simple search on this site to answer my question. Keep up the good work!

I have been searching for a foundation that covers well, but doesn’t feel or too thick/cakey. I have plenty of bottles of foundation that I have purchased and hate. This is the first one I have found in a long time that doesn’t melt off my oily face in the Florida heat and humidity. I apply it in the morning and only have to use an oil blotter once in the afternoon.

I actually agree about the customer service at Sephora- I also have issues with their cleanliness standards. Having said that, since it’s the only option for a lot of lines I continued to stop in and, after a few visits, actually found someone that is nice, willing to help and knowledgeable. Now that I think of it, service has been a lot better in the last 6 months or so- I wonder if they changed their selling philosophy and re-trained or something.
Believe it or not, there are retailers that actually TRAIN associates NOT to greet or help clients unless the customer approaches first. (Abercrombie, for example) I always wondered if Sephora had a similar policy!
Ulta is great for customer service, but they can lean a bit toward the pushy side. They also have a certain number of Estheticians on staff so you know there’s someone relatively knowledgeable around, at least when it comes to skin.
Thank Goodness for sites like this though, they do make out lives easier
Just wanted to also throw it out there that MUFE has a 5th camouflage palette that includes all of the color correcting tones on it. Seems like it would be great for make up artitists

Share my problem..???I hate buy makeup forever liquid foundation shopping at BANDUNG SUPERMALL – Indonesia The girls in that store area offer a new product, she suggest me that it needed 4 me coz i course 4 make up, several days after i cameback t returned, coz my teacher say that i have t change it in the other series product that he sugest, that product i bought 4 professionale? coz better 4 me that i strarting lesson with a product that he show t me but the store can’t accept returned th product n i complaint t customer service ,they promised in several day will call me by phone but until now no phne t me, i hurry go back t CS n they can’t help me with my purchase coz the regulation can’t returned???what’s is a big company??or bad Company??can’t accommodating return policies This product does not work that i need , I hate MAKEUP FOREVER COSMETICS ……………….. so if they can help me find the right thing the next time if i want t buy,ciaww…

I just turned 40 this May. My 21 yr old daughter turned me onto you. Ever since, I have been hooked. I watch the tutorials and always check out your articles and reviews. I went out and immediately bought about 400. worth of stuff that you have reccomended and am happy with all. I always get compliments on my makeup. But the best part is that everyone says I don’t look like I am 40! They say there is no way they would have guessed that I have a 21 yod and a 19 yos. Thank You Marlena, for helping me to be prettier and look younger. PS MUF concealer palette is the best thing since sliced bread.

hi marlena i would really appreciate if you wrote back ?i use the same concealer palette but it seems to crease on me and it sets in to my fine lines ?what can i do to make it stop creasing if i set it with powder it looks cakey!is their any other concealer u can recommend?thank you!
