they all look pretty, but DAMN some of them are EXPENSIVE! i want them all really bad, but 23 bucks?! 14 bucks?! for ONE eyeshadow? i’m not nearly that rich lol. i’ll probs buy some of the cheaper though, cause they look so awesometastic.
Nars shadows are highly pigmented and last forever. $14 is cheap for a good luxury brand shadow.
Can you swatch them if is no trouble?

Thanks Marlena!!! I own Humid and but I have never thought about Luck Green. I noticed that you have a NARS e/s listed. I recently went on their website and was blwon away by their products. Do you think that you could do a review of their makeup some time in the future???
I have the Bare Escentuals Black Emerald it is a very beautiful shadow, haven’t had many chances to wear it though. Marlena is there any chanc eyou could do a look with some of these shadows? I know you have sooo much spare time…ha ha ha… Love and appreciate all the hard work you do for us MUGS!
Mac One-Off from the Starflash collection is also an amazing green. It’s just SO smooth.

just to let everyone know, you can get the mac shadows for only $11 at a mac pro store if you buy the refill pans ( it’s 14.50 if you buy it in the little compact but only 11 for the actual tin of powder) hey, marlena, you forgot swimmingly and antique gold! love watching your talent !

Mugs ya’ll have to check out Urban Decay’s graffiti! It’s a very bright bold color.
I also love MAC’s Club–it’s a color changing green that works as an accent or on the whole lid.

That NARS color looks awesome!! I would really love to see a color swatch of how that looks on the skin. Sometimes colors are so misleading when you just see them in the container,and that’s a hefty price to pay without seeing how it looks first. My current fave green color is called “Pixie Dust” & it’s from Mattify Cosmetics – only cost 5 bucks on http://www.mattifycosmetics.com
It’s similar to the mint green Urban Decay shadow above, but has super pretty sparkle to it. I also like the Mattify shadow called Mystic Mermaid – that’s kind of a teal green and when used wet it makes for an incredible eye liner.

I was wondering if you’d do something for St. Pattys day. LUV it. You rock!
I love this! I came by tonight to ask for a St. Patty’s look. I was hoping you could come up with a costume look with the greens in the Coastal Scents 88 pallet similar to what you did with Moulin Rouge look you did with the reds/pinks. I live near Jackson, MS and we have one of the biggest parades & celebrations in the country! I even wanted to do the glue-on crystals near the eyes. I’m all new to this & really look to you for inspiration! XOXO

MAC’s Humid was my first ever green eyeshadow about a decade ago and still to this day, its my favorite!! (along with Swimming and Olive)
“Serpent” from Smashbox is also a very nice emerald green (with black undertones) .

I absolutely love Humid, I always use that color if I’m doing a green look
But hey, some of you said that you don’t want to spend $14 or $23 for just ONE eyeshadow .. Well, I live in Norway, and we have MAC here (thank God for that). For one single pan eyeshadow you have to pay $16. MAC is WAY more expensive here in the north than in the U.S. Can’t wait ’til I’m going to study in the U.S.

From your selection, in particular the NARS Night Porter caught my eye…that looks really stunning and knowing NARS quality pigments, I am sure it looks really nice on as well!
I sooo like those colors..and I can’t believe how cheap they are in the US!!
Here in Germany, a single MAC eyeshadow costs about 18-20 Euro, that’s about 24-26 USD!!!
And the pigments cost about 24 Euro, so 26USD.
That’s why I have to make do with cheaper stuff
WOW! That NARS shadow is gorgeoussssss! I saw a pigment on glamour doll eyes that was similiar and hey, a lottttt cheaper!
marlena this is uber helpfull but i cant afford nyx and mac……. any cheaper suggestions
