Review *NEW* Benefit Cosmetics-Confessions of a Concealaholic
What is it?
A conceal kit on the go! With everything you could need to hide those sleepy dark circles and those pesky PMS pimples. It even has a great primer for brightening up your face on those gloomy days!
They Describe it As:
Why fight it when you can hide it, conceal it, camouflage it and cover it? This concealing and brightening kit has EVERYTHING you need to live happily ever after!
Overall Opinion:
I am hands down, in love with this kit. It conceals everything! The shades of concealers are blendable with different complexion tones, and layer well with foundations and tinted moisturizers.
I decided to try it out on a client so you could see the before and after effects of this product.

I seen this kit a billion times but never gave it a try. I’ll have to check it out. The before and after has really convinced me it must be amazing.
I’m Latina and I happen to have darker skin. I’m on the chocolatey side. Do you happen to know if this comes in different shades? it sounds amazing especially if Marlena thinks its 5 star!!!! but I know it wouldn’t suit my tone. Anyone have a clue?
i would like to know that too. i am african, i think my skin colour is golden brown or something like that..
I’m latina too, and I bought it. I think that it can works in your skin, because That Gal primer is colorless, eyebright is only an iluminator, the boing corrector is in two colors, the concealer is dark too and i have to use only a little bit and blend it so well, and the lemon aid is yellow, looks like a shadow and you can put another color on top.
Sorry for my english.
what would you suggest as an alternative for people who are inbetween medium-medium/dark?
Wow…what a review! This looks like a great solution for someone who does use ALOT of concealer! The photo results look great too. My only concern would be the difficulty some may experience in finding & mixing the perfect shade for them. Thanks for an informative post.
This kit sounds great!!! But does it come in darker tones for women of color?
It looks like they just make this kit which is for light-medium tones. I am medium toned and the concealers in this kit are all too light for me too
They should make another kit that is darker!
I am blown away by the before & after shots. Wow!
I will have to check this out tonight at sephora…..I have to say that a really good concealer is “Well Rested” by Bare Escentuals. It is a powder that is applied over foundation or concealer under the eye and it is amazing…
Those photos really show what this kit can do!! I’ve had my eye on it for a while.
Checked out the kit last night at sephora – the sizes of everything in the palette are so small!! I was not sure it was really worth the price to get.
The sizes are pretty small, but they last FOREVER…especially the Erase Paste! The price is worth that one product alone! If you have fair to medium skin, I highly recommend this set…
Thank you Tiffany – maybe I will try it!
are you makeupbytiffanyd???
Thank you
i was worried that shades are not for me , but now im gonna purchase it
Have you tried powderflage and benefit foundations ?
hey they should make a video of how to apply it on your face
I loved the products in this kit for a few weeks. However, then the products, specifically the lemonaid and the eyebright, as well as the boeing started to dry out (became less and less creamy) and it became hard to blend. The lemonaid became something that would tug at my eye when applying. Major no no. I would suggest buying the products separately. I know it is a great way to try the products at minimal cost, but it became poor quality after a short time. I am a fan of “dry” products, such as eye shadow palettes in cardboard magnetic casing, however NOT creamy product. I returned mine, and I am buying the erase paste and the eye bright. I did test the lemonaid in the store today and it was much more creamy in the circular case it sales in full size.
Hmmm… What do you think is better, the Makeup Forever Camouflage palette or this? I’m trying to decide between the two
I love the finished result. I have been asking for something like this for quite some time. I am a medium olive tone latina and suffer from hereditary dark circles. Unfortunately they are worse in the summer due to allergies. I saw this kit at sephora the last time I went but wasn’t sure it would work. I’m going to have to give it a try though as soon as I get to the store. The closest Sephora is an hour away. I would love to see you deomonstrate this on a person of similar complexion as this woman. She is just a shade lighter than I am. LOL… Anyway thanks for the great review.
I kept overlooking this kit thinking it was just another face in the crowd, but now I might try it to see if I like it better than my VS Color Correction palette. I wish it had a green correction color, but the fair and medium, pink, and yellow will all be usable for me.
DO YOU RECOMMEND USING the brushes or fingers to apply?
The woman life without makeup, makeup of powdery cake is needed
How would you compare this to MUFE concealing palette? Comparable? Which one do you think is more powerful?
I usually go with the MUFE palette for my deep, dark circles, but I’m always in search of the best concealer. I ordered this concealing kit, expecting miracles, but I was a bit disapointed. All of the products in the kit are so tiny! The erase paste is too dark for my skintone, and I wasn’t too impressed with the price for the tiny kit. It is okay, but I’d much rather spend $36 on a concealer I adore. I’d Say the MUFE palette is pretty comparable. I love that palette, but sometimes it got a bit too creamy. I guess the search continues for the perfect concealer.
Amazing product set. Bought it about a month ago and I have used it everyday! I love the erase paste for under the eyes, and the concealer for blemishes. Definitely worth the price
do you have video about how to apply this products? and look like the girl in the picture .. i wanna make my own after and before XD
I actually bought this last night and the Erase Paste is really amazing! Best concealer yet! I really like the consistency of the product; and it glides on easily and is very smooth and creamy! I also really like that highlighter that is in the box as well.
Thanks Marlena!
I’ve seen this product in my local Sephora vending machine (we unfortunately don’t have Sephora in Alaska
) and have thought about getting it.. I most definitely will be now!
