Review: Bourjois Liquid Eyeshadow
Since I consider myself to be a full-on eyeshadow junkie, I thought I had swatched, tested, and worn just about every type of eyeshadow out there. That is, until I found these liquid eyeshadows by Bourjois!
These liquid eyeshadows are like pearly liquid diamonds for your eyes! They glide on smoothly, are easy to apply, and have the best staying power I have ever seen. I wore the pink colored one and fell asleep with it on (yes it is bad, I know), but when I woke up the next morning, the eyeshadow was still on while my MAC Carbon had faded away.
Although they have amazing staying power, they are still easy to get off with warm water or makeup remover. These shadows cost $16, but you can get them through Amazon for $11.20. I highly recommend, and will definitely be using these more in the future!

I have been using one kind of makeup for the past 2 and a half years,then I seen your videos on you tube & I was like where have I been . I love the videos of the nyx. I’m a bare escentuals addict but I think I’m going to try the nyx brand because they have really pretty colors. But anyway I dont want to ramble on & take up your time I just wanted to let you know that you rock and you are truly an inspiration to me to pursue my career in the beauty industry. I have been a makeup junkie since I was a little girl. So thanks for this awesome website and opening my eyes to different brands. You truly are an amazing makeup artist.
thank you for showing us that new product !!!! Bourgeois is very famous in france because it’s not as expensive as MAC or MUFE or UD makeup maybe it’s the équivalent of L’Oreal Hip that we can’t find here).
Till now it wasn’t as good as professional products but the colors are always gorgeous ! I’m happy to know that those liquid eye shadows are great and I’ll look after them in my supermarket today.

I extremely rarely leave comments on blogs (although, and that’s funny, I happen to read Marion’s blog, too, and I really like it), but yours is just absolutely incredible. I’ve always loved make up, but reading you made me realise how little fun and technique I had until now… Now I really enjoy my make up to the fullest and it’s a blast! I bought so many things since I started reading you, and everything was absolutely worth it.
And it gives me an extra boost in the morning when I see there’s a new video up!
Well, just like Marion, I guess I’ll have to go and check that eyeshadow today… the pink one lookss like something I could really love….

I’m also french (that’s the day for french girls, it seems!), and I also have to thank you for helping me go through bad days with great make up tips, techniques and ideas. I have been sick and the treatment made me lost my eyebrows and lashes, and watching and learning from you has really helped me go through all this without people telling me all day long that I looked sick (I had to learn from someone else how to put on false eyelashes, though!). I actually had people telling me I looked great, and it was a relief in all this!
So really, thank you again for this website, and please keep up the good work!!

hey marlena, for me the Bourjois products are really good. Ive been using the eyeliners for so many years now b4 i got into e/s. I have a lot of different colors on their eyeliners and i uses also the hightlighting powder. hmmm, i should try this liquid e/s they have coz just by watching your video now, the colors are great. im inlove with pinks right now, so i might as well purchase this color

I found these a while back, in my quest for liquid eyeshadow that stays and much to my suprise not only did these stay until you took it off, but the color also stayed true!! LOVE! Second, thanks for sharing those swatches of the Bourjois liquid shadows, there are so many products, sometimes you don’t even know what you are missing out on. And last but not least, I just had to tell you how much I enjoy watching your videos, reviews and hauls. I always look forward to learning from you, it’s always exciting to see what new looks you have or new information you have to share. My dream has always been to be a makeup artist, but a regular office job is all I’ve ever had. I feel alot more inspired now that I have been watching such great talent. It’s made me much more knowledgable and my make up looks better than ever. Thank you! can u plz tell me that how should v apply theses liq eyeshadows with a brush or fingertips i used liq e/s once but i had prob making that outer v with the fingertips and with the brush they kind of smudged

I am a NC35-NC40 and I just bought the liquid eyeshadows in beige metallique and blanc chrome…I was having a really tough time deciding between blanc chrome and rose electron…which one do you think would look nicer on me? I am thinking about exchanging the blanc chrome for rose electron..hmm
Go for the Rose Electron. It is soooo beautiful. I just had to buy another.
I actually love the Blanc Chrome because it has hint of pink and gold.
They do look beautiful applied together. You can streak one color and
then the other next to it and blend the two. Has anyone tried the one in
Brun? Is it a pretty brown?
I forgot to mention that you can apply the formula with a concealer brush
if you want a nice and thin layer. Sometimes the Rose Electron comes
out strong if you apply it directly from the tube.

Hi Marlena – I only discovered you yesterday and adore you/your work! I found the Bourjois liquid shadows a few weeks back and really love them too – so far have just the teal-blue and diamond-white (or whatever they’re called!).
