Marlene has a depotting video that is great.. I have depotted Urban Decay and MAC eyeshadows recently. She uses a Flat iron to depot hers but I found a a bic lighter works faster. Although it does have a burning plastice smell for a while. lol that I can live with. I used a pair of tweezers to hold the eyeshadow in the plastic after yiou have got it out of the big container.

hi, i’m having trouble popping out the eyeshadows from the case? i’ve already ruined three eyeshadows trying to get them out.. help!!!

Wow, I just stumbled onto your tutorial on uTube and was very impressed with what I saw! Out of all the tutorials out there yours is the BEST, very informative and useful!!!!

I’m not an makeup artist but am very addicted to makeup! Your organizational tip is so very helpful that I’ve begun organizing my makeup and enjoying it!

My issue is I have oily eyelids and find that after an hour or so I find that the color has faded. I’ve tried to put more base on the eyelid to prevent it from fading but it doesn’t seem to work. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Marlena,

I’d just like to thank you for all the amazing tutorials, tips and ideas you have shared with everyone, i’m very greatful. You’re make up is just amazing and has made me make my own video make up tutorials (just for fun). Every single day ever since i’ve found out about makeup geek i’m on youtube or your website watching 10 billion tutorials. I can’t begin to tell you how much i want to be like you with all your make up, ideas etc.

Thank you so much!!! You most likely have so many questions to answer every day and of caurse so many comments, would i be able to ask a few questions and if possible could you please answer them!

QUESTIONS: I have makeup (different make up scattered everywhere – not much) i need to know a couple of things:

1. What colour eye shadows are MUST HAVES?

2. What make up are MUST HAVES?

Where can i find cheap, good quality make up including brushes (what are the MUST HAVE BRUSHES?)

Marlena thank you again for all the effort you put into your turorials it is much appreciated, any more tips that you think will be useful and helpful to me will be much appreciated (i dance in many estiedfords and concerts) does that help???

Thanks for this page, your colors are easier to see on your site than from MAC. You helped me alot of picking out my colors and which ones are your favs. Coming from where I am, there are no MAC makeup stores, so it helped me tremendously in picking my colors. Thankyou thankyou!!
