    I think it is unfair that the girl who recreated the Kat Von D. look placed first. You first of all, did a tutorial on this same exact makeup style… seems as if someone is playing favorites.

    I can assure you that no favorites are being played here. To be honest, I’m not really sure what my motivation would be to choose one person over the other, besides that I felt that person did an excellent job. Also, keep in mind that, as I mentioned in the video, there were four impartial people that were involved in the voting here. We each voted separately and tallied up the final score to come up with the winner.

    Lets try to keep a good spirit here. I would hate to see any hard feelings linger here over a friendly competition.

    Congratulations! It was fun to see all of the looks and their interpretations. I envy those who can look at a picture and duplicate it….something not everyone can do! Great job girls and great idea for a contest Marlena!

    Murry, you can’t buy pigment samples at a MAC store- they sell full size jars for $19.50. I just buy small 5 gram jars and divide my pigments :) There are several places online that sell samples, if you want to look.
    I’m hoping to have them on the store here on the site as well, once we get it up and running :)
